This 1950’s weatherboard needed an internal and external upgrade now that my clients’ children had grown up and moved into their own homes. The rear of the home had walls removed to create a larger kitchen, bathroom, a separate toilet and laundry. A studio was built in the same style as the main home and a large spotted gum deck now provided an ideal relaxation space. The front concrete porch was dismantled and a larger spotted gum deck and verandah made the facade practical and more inviting. Recycled decking and posts from Urban Salvage were used.
