Her apprenticeship was half high rise/commercial and half residential renovations and extensions. Working on older homes became a real attraction. When she started her carpentry business in 2009, restoring and reconfiguring 100 year old homes became her speciality.
Ironically, Marcelle never saw herself doing a trade, but becoming a residential builder suits her personality much more than her previous career in politics ever did.
At 54, Marcelle is still on the tools and undertakes one main renovation or new build at a time. This ensures your project runs efficiently, gets Marcelle’s full attention to detail and is finished on time and to a standard you expect.
