She was patient with me as I hesitated between one type of cladding and another.The work on the house was carried out quickly, and conscientiously. Her sub contractors (all women) were also very friendly, efficient and quick to do their respective work and the weatherboards looked great. She even did some extra work at the end, installing insulation on a 34 degree day. No knocking off at 3pm, everyday she worked till she had completed what she had wanted to do, regardless of time. Communicated really well, texting all the time – such a change to a lot of trades I’ve had in the past. I can highly recommend her to anyone who wants a job well done and for the experience to be such a pleasant one.”

“Marcelle’s done some great work on my house, a 1924 California Bungalow. She’s fixed up work done by a previous carpenter who wasn’t terribly careful, and wanted to do things his way without any consultation or discussion. She’s also installed a double-glazed window and a door and reinstated a section of plate rail removed by a previous owner. Whenever there was a possibility of doing things more than one way, Marcelle would always ask what I was looking for; what I wanted it to look like, or how I wanted it to work. I’m doing some (non-carpentry) work myself, which is slowing things down, but Marcelle’s accommodating me. She always responds quickly and cheerfully to my emails. I’m pleased to be working with Marcelle, and I’m happy to recommend her.”
