Alas, the original period verandah and timber windows had been replaced by a previous owner with a steel window and a concrete roof. It was deteriorating badly and my client wanted it dismantled and rebuilt to its original style. Double-glazed, double-hung single windows were installed and a cove style timber verandah was created. A vast improvement!
